Kuspuk School District staff held an In-Service on Jan. 12, 2026, focused on collaboration, professional learning, and stronger instruction for all schools.

Kuspuk schools will return to their normal schedule on Monday, January 19, 2026. Exception: Johnnie John Sr. School will resume on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.

KSD is gathering feedback on the 2026–2027 school calendar before the Jan. 20, 2026 Board meeting.

Kuspuk School District will observe Winter Break from December 19, 2025, with staff returning January 12 and students returning January 13.

Kuspuk schools are invited to submit up to five student artworks each for the 2026 ACSA Student Art Show in Juneau, showcasing student creativity across Alaska.
